A Message for Friends

Hey friend! :)

Time surely flies so fast. It will be less than a week before you go. Or less. Or more. Dunno. I didn't count it for sure (._. )>

The place you'll be going to will be so far far far far away.

Like 7312326356138247385868549 miles away from here.

From home.

The place we've shared everything together for almost 8 years.

Happiness.

Laughter.

Sadness.

Tears.

Love.

Struggles.

Competitions.

Clashes.

Confrontations.

We might not always share laughter and good times. But apparently we had some fights, also.

We met about 8 or 7 years ago. Still new, still young at the age of 15. We befriended with each other without knowing anything.

But our unknown personalities had made us friends.

Friends that lasts for years.

Remember the times we had national choir competitions? Such a bliss. Nothing will unite us more than those togetherness.

We cried for the fight we've been through for the triumph. One of us facing her own fate, right after we finish our best effort back then. But I'm pretty sure it was a fall that worth every single struggle and every single drop of our tears.

Even though we went separate ways when we enter colleges, we still found our ways to fit inside our small community.

We went here and there together.

Sunday mass. Hangouts. Concerts. Competitions. Café. Movies. Weddings. Villa gatherings. Even beach holidays.

We did stupid things together.

Well, maybe I did the least, you did the most ;D

But we laugh together in the end.

Laugh like there's no tomorrow.

Years passed, we went the further separate ways. Jakarta, China, Singapore, here, there, that place; anywhere we had opportunities offered.

We met rarely. Less togetherness.

We only share laughter and stories through mails & devices.

But we could still see each others at least twice a year. A time we always waited for.

But then bigger changes happened. Bigger opportunities were offered.

Then we parted with more distance. Further ones.

We cried when we knew we won't meet each others for some time being. Distance. Time difference. Jetlags.

We cried when we knew we're going to miss each others for long time. The togetherness we're going to lose.

In the end, we still part. For the dreams we've dreamt for so long. The passion we had since forever.

Farewell is one hardest thing to do in this life.

Yet we still need to say goodbye.

But goodbye is not forever.

One day, we'll meet again.

One day, we'll be together once more.

One day, we'll share greater stories.

Reunited in friendship.

Although it may not be forever, but we will cherish it.

Dreams might separate us, but not for the rest of our lives.

Dreams are to be pursued, but friendship is to cherish.

Creating more wonderful memories we'll keep for lifetime being.

We might be miles apart, but we will always be friends.

The strong bond we've created won't break easily, for everything we've been through.

As long as we had the same sun to warm our days, the same moon to light our nights, as long as we still had each others, parting can never be bad.

A goodbye will never hurts unless we will never see each other anymore.

A part of us grown in each of our hearts, together forever we shall be, never apart, maybe in distance, but not in the heart.


Remember that anywhere you live, for short or long, we never separated.

Distance is just a number. Number that won't break our bonds together, ever.

It's hard to bid farewell, but it must be done.

Step forward, have a safe flight, feel great experiences, learn more, and leap towards your dreams.

See you again one day.
