[Review] Etude House Beautifying Block Cream

Hello hello I'm back again with new  product to review and new blog name. Yes I know I'm being inconsistent with my domains and everything else I hope this will be the last time I change it.

Long story short, one of my lil sis asked me on new BB cream since the last one she bought always resulting her face to be a little grey-ish. She bought Etude House's Precious Mineral Perfect Fit in W-13, is there any of you who owns this thing too and also got a greyish face in result? Please let me know.

After I posted this new toy in IG, she asked me immediately on how it works on me, does it give me greyish face too and things along the line so I decided to try it today (the item came in my mail on Saturday but I just get home yesterday night) and see how it works on me.

This new BB cream by Etude House entered the market earlier this January, and it was just about time I finished my old BB Cream samples so I got this guts to buy the new one since I'm crazed about dewy-face thing and this new BB cream comes in MOIST and MATTE,

I definitely chose MOIST.

This new BB cream comes in a 45 ml slim tube which allows you to easily take it anywhere you go. It's not as bulky as the old Precious Mineral Series with pump dispenser, but it's more like Cover & Bright Fit series with squeeze tube. I don't mind any but the squeeze tube looks like a cheaper option (LOL) compared to the pump dispenser. The Moist one comes in light pink plastic tube while the Matte one is white, and both has dark grey screw cap for the cover. 

Overall thoughts on the packaging? It's simpler but not less princess-y. Still cute and it's still has the Etude House-vibe.

The smell of the cream is so subtle and smells similar with previous series, and it's not that overpowering and it's spread easily. I spread this swatch on my wrist using my finger and it still spread evenly without much effort. And as you can see, the color has a little bit yellow undertone and clearly brightening your skin tone. Quite a match with my skin, I guess?

Now let's try applying it on my face and I'm begging you to bear with my bare face, which currently is not in its best conditions since I'm currently struggling with pimples coming out like everyday and I can't do anything until it pops on its own. I really hate this thing--pimples. 

From the pictures you can see the coverage is quite nice, and the brightening effect can be seen clearly. Coverage is so-so since I didn't apply concealer or second layer, probably buildable coverage with two or three layers, haven't tried it ehe. 

The result is actually satisfying to me, it gives you this my-skin-but-better and it sure has some dewy glowy thing which I really like. I actually wanted to try looking matte once in a while but my dry skin doesn't allow it to happen so yes I'm gonna stick with glowy face. Not that I hate dewy face, I actually worship this Korean makeup trademark because it gives your face a youthful, healthy skin look--but I wanna go matte once in a while as well lol.

I really like this new BB cream. I was actually doubting the Beige shade will suit me since I have yellow undertone and from the previous BB cream I had from Etude, they all gave me greyish face as well. But thank God, this one doesn't betray me and gave me my-skin-but-better finish and although it doesn't cover enough with one layer, I still like it. 

Did I regret buying this? No of course not. With this brightening-effect, dewy look, and natural coverage? No. Not at all.

Do I recommend this? Yes. The recent Etude House face products come in FIVE shade, definitely better than the old three-shades-only method, and I think it will suit a lot more people's skintone with five different shade options.

I haven't try out the staying power but it claimed to last longer than the Precious Mineral BB Cream and Precious Mineral Cover & Bright Fit, so let's see later. I will update the blog when I already tested the staying power.
