Review: Skin79 The Prestige BB Cream
OLA GIRLS~ ヾ(´^ω^)ノ♪
More review won't kill rite? Keke~ I just had this thing, Skin79 Diamond Collection The Prestige BB Cream! ♥(>̯┌┐<)•°
I bought the mini size (15g) and travel size (5g) instead the full size one (40g). I think it's too much and will took some time to finish the whole bottle, and maybe will be a bit boring to me to use the same BB cream again and again. LoL.
CUTE PACKAGING PLUS 10000!!! ♥(>̯┌┐<)•°
The 15 gr comes in prism shape with transparent pink acrylic case and "built-in" PUMP with white letters printed on the acrylic. SO SO SO CHIO. I LOVEEEEEEEE. The box is also pink like the content. And those white dots, SO CUTE. Yes, I'm a sucker for cute packaging as I always said. If I had as much money as Bill Gates do, I think I'll buy everything that looks cute to me. LOL.
The 5gr travel size is also cute. If it wasn't cute, I'm not gonna buy it. Hahaha~! The travel size comes in a pink plastic tube with screw silver plastic cap. Convenient, easy to bring anywhere. The pink colour attracts me so much I really love it! XD Skin79 always had the most unique design for their pump bottles. Extra-ordinary, no? :D
Baby pink colour but still got the elegant feels in it! Can't hate this kind of packaging. Hahaha!
Okay, let's move to the cream! I think I had something to do with "female instinct" when it comes to buy something (especially makeups), because some of my friends, or even strangers, always ask for the thing I bought like bags, purses, flip-flops, flats, etc. I think I had good eyes for ladies' things. Teehee.
"built-in" pump bottle. Hygienic! |
The built-in pump makes every thing so easy and convenient and hygienic. Y'know, I hate digging jars or anything else using my nails or fingers (―˛―“) Why? Because it's SO SO GROSS. You know how many germs hide beneath your nails? URGGH. NO, JUST DON'T. That's why I prefer pump bottles, or at least use mini spoon or spatula. Make sure your spatula or spoon is also clean. Germs can harm your beautiful skin, right?
The BB cream's tone is more to cool skin tone, pink. Why is it always pink tone when Asians usually have yellow skin? Or is it because Koreans are all fair, pretty, pink-skinned? Envy max (╥﹏╥) The texture is more watery than Jutanhak Ossion BB Cream, and it means easier to apply, and wider coverage ヾ(´^ω^)ノ♪
wide coverage! ^^ |
AS you can see yourself, the coverage is quite wide because the texture is bit watery. Small amount can reach my whole face. Saving-mode BB cream? Kekeke~ XP The effect is a bit dewy, like using volumer as I did before with Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer. Maybe it's because of the watery texture. But I love dewy look! XD
Apparently, the dewy finish is only temporary, because the more I blend it, the dewy look is fading, and ended up with matte look :|
the finish look |
Although its dewy look is fading, but the coverage is pretty okay. And the tone is not as pink as I thought when first seeing it out of the tube. It actually blends pretty well with my skin. It IS a bit too pale for me, but living in this tropical country made it easier because as time passes by, the color will blend with skin, or worse, swept away by sweat. LOL.
No special scent included in this one. There is a bit liquid powder scent, but it vanish as I finished patting the cream onto my skin. Not long-lasting scent. I don't know either I like it or I don't. Mwahahaha~ XD
Pros:
★ CUTE PACKAGE, no doubt
★ watery texture, easy to apply, wide coverage
★ convenient, hygienic container (pump & tube, no digging)
★ actually-not-that-pink tone ^^v
★ affordable (well, I'm not saying it is that cheap, it's just affordable :p)
Cons:
★ dewy look doesn't last long T_T
★ a bit too pale for me. just a little.
